This is the Engine Breather Filter will suit:

• Land Rover Freelander TD4| 2001 to 2006
• Range Rover 3.0 l322 2002–2006 

This filter is commonly overlooked and becomes blocked which causes crankcase to pressurise and the engine will cause the use of excessive oil.

You may even see oil coming out of the dipstick tube in some cases.
